What wonderful additions to the ENTC family!
It was wonderful to attend the recent Affiliated New Thought Network conference for ministers and practitioners that was held again this year at the Franciscan Retreat Center in Arizona. I had the opportunity to talk with several ENTC members in attendance. Rev. Dr. Don Chatfield and I got to chat (ha ha) about the ENTC Newsletter. As you know, Don is the layout editor of the newsletter AND he received his ENTC ordination at the Emerson Ordination Ceremony as did Kris and Craig Haley. Don shared some ideas for upcoming newsletter issues. Several people at the conference said how great the latest newsletter looked and that the content was excellent! Hats off to ENTC Affiliates!!
ENTC members Rev. Drs. Kris and Craig Haley presented graduation diplomas to 8 persons completing their animal chaplain work! Five of them are featured above. You can see a video of their part of the Emerson Graduation on youtube at angeloplc1.
Many ideas were also shared by ENTC member Rev. Dr. Mike Dearing and his wife from Noblesville, Indiana. Mike and his wife have a wedding ministry serving a large geographic area. Mike’s recent Doctorate project was on the topic of creating an awesome wedding website. You can check out his personal website at: www.onespiritwedding.com. Mike indicated indicated an interest in having an advertising space in the ENTN newsletter. Great idea!
ENTC member Rev. Dr. Marilyn Hall offered an informative session on “A Glimpse into the 4th Dimension, Seminary of the Sierra”. This program, based out of San Diego area offers the dynamic opportunities for ministers to go deepen their spiritual growth. Their website is seminarySIERRA@aol.com.
Other beloved ENTC members Rev. Dr Frank and Rev Theresa zumMallen offered conference attendees early morning meditations.
And last, but certainly not least, Rev Dr. Angelo Pizelo was the Keynote speaker on Wednesday morning, April 18th. His topic was “Igniting the Human Potential”. He had attendees smiling with love and roaring with laughter.
This ENTC blog site has been created to facilitate Affiliate Member communication. It is a private blog site, for member use only. Hopefully this blog will be one of the roads to inspiring and supporting each other during our life’s journey. Often times we may read an inspiring book and want to share some thoughts or have an outstanding moment teaching a class and have ideas to build upon. Sometimes we might want to look for a quick word of encouragement knowing that others are on this same path with us.
I have been recently inspired by a “Fierce Conversations” training that I attended. (Definition fierce includes: robust, intense, strong, powerful, passionate, eager) Author, speaker Susan Scott urges us to achieve success at work and in life, one conversation at a time and suggests that the conversation is the relationship. Technology provides us with tools for connections. We can have ongoing threaded conversations on this blog, if members wish to use it that way. I look forward to our sharing of thoughts, suggestions and ideas.
